DaRaVeNrK LLC is the personal engineering and consulting brand operated by me — a seasoned, full-stack software and systems engineer with deep expertise in infrastructure automation, cloud-native architecture, data pipelines, secure operations, and DevSecOps best practices.

Drone Video Streaming and Control:Application for controlling and streaming video from a drone anywhere In the world to any web capable device. Using a 3DR Solo drone I created a series of applications that utilize Google’s WebRTC Library, a turn-server, and an Android application built on NodeJS to stream and control a drone’s video camera and gimble remotely from anywhere in the world.This projects was requested by NV Dynamics and was to be utilized here in Nevada as a way for them to take the video footage created and, on-the-fly, SLAM (Simultaneously Localize And Map) that data in order to refine the GPS coordinates. This was to assist them in autonomously flying that drone over streets and through places that could not get GPS data (Tunnels). The hardware that ran the applications were an Android phone on the user side to control the drone and receive video. The drone itself using a Yocto operating system. Yocto did not have a c-compiler so I used Node.JS for that application. I had a phone or a RaspberryPi attached to the drone which would share its Wifi with the drone allowing for the 3 systems to communicate together streaming live video and allowing the user to control the gimble of the drone from anywhere in the world. This also isolated the drive system from the gimble and camera control so the viewer did not have drone control and the drone operator on site or remote control station could have sole control of the actual drone.
